Frederick Bell, Sr., 87, of Ewing died peacefully on Sunday with family by his side, at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Born in Trenton and raised in Hamilton where he was a graduate of Hamilton High West, Fred was a resident of Ewing most of his life. He retired as the Plant Manager of C. V. Hill Refrigeration in Trenton in 1990 after 42 years of service. Fred was an avid golfer and enjoyed trips to the casinos, but received the most enjoyment spending time with his children and grand children. Son of the late Benjamin and Sarah Bell and husband of the late Elizabeth Timko Bell, Fred is survived by his children, Betty Ann Harkness and her husband David, Brenda Zargiel and her husband Stanley, Bonnie Noone and her husband Brian and Frederick Bell, Jr. and his wife Lori; his grandchildren, Megan Hart and husband Dan, David Harkness and wife Dana, Scott Harkness and wife Melissa, Ryan Zargiel, Kristi Warlick and husband Matt, Courtney Grissinger and husband Jimmy, Erin Irby and husband Andrew, Kelly Tiano and husband Alan, Kevin Noone, Sarah Bell and Zachary Bell; seven great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Henry Zeltt; sister-in-law, Helen Timko and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Fred will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
