Obituary of Margaret Anne Neeff

Margaret Anne Sneath Neeff, 85, died at home on Friday after a lengthy illness. Daughter of the late William Corbett Sneath and Margaret Strouse Sneath, she was a life-long resident of the Trenton area. She was a graduate of Trenton Central High School, class of 1940, and a graduate of Rider College. Following graduation, she worked for the State of New Jersey until the time of her marriage in 1947. After the birth of her two daughters, she returned to the workforce, working for C. A. Worthington Insurance until she took over the family business, Special Foods Center in Trenton. However, she always considered her role as a mother to be her most important job. She was especially proud of her volunteer work at the Hitching Post, a USO facility in Trenton, during World War II. Her other interests included music, reading, her pets, the Jersey shore, boating, and collecting antique wooden jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Neeff; two daughters and a son-in-law, Anne S. N. Gale of Ewing and Margaret and Dr. Telechery Sudhakar of Princeton; and two grandsons, Anand William Sudhakar of Washington, D.C., and Nikhil Sudhakar of Princeton; and many other relatives, friends and business associates.
