RAYMOND TAGLIAFERRI, 91, of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Philadelphia, PA, he resided in Lawrenceville, NJ, for the past fifty-six years. Mr. Tagliaferri was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He retired in 1985 after thirty-three years from General Motors Corporation, Ewing, Township, NJ. He was the former owner of Dayton Food Market Trenton, and was a parishioner of the Church of Saint Ann. Son of the late Arthur and Maria Sarandrea Tagliaferri; beloved husband of the late Ida DiGiuseppe Tagliaferri; brother of the late Isodore Tagliaferri, Joseph Tagliaferri, and Josephine Scartocci; he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Donna Tagliaferri; three daughters and a son-in-law, Marie Tagliaferri, Sharon and Tim Ruberto, and Sandee Tagliaferri; a sister, Lena Apoldite; a sister-in-law, Pat Tagliaferri; grandchildren, and their spouses, Jason and Megan Tagliaferri, Ashleigh Tagliaferri, Trey Tagliaferri, Michael Tagliaferri, Emma and Kacy Esplin, Krystle and Rob Quinn, Jackie Ruberto, Tricia Hannon, Wayne Hannon Jr; a great-grandchild, Reagan Tagliaferri; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. . The Funeral will be held on Saturday morning, July 18, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. from the Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by his nephew Father Dennis Apoldite on Saturday morning, at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of Saint Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours for family and friends will be on Friday evening, July 17, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Frank M. Immordino of Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton, NJ.
