Obituary of Richard John Waseleski

Richard John Waseleski, 80, of Lawrenceville died peacefully Friday at Capital Health System at Mercer surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton he was a resident of Lawrenceville for the past 48 years. Richard was self employed and was the owner of AIM AAA Exterminators in Lawrenceville for the past 30 years. He was a member of several business organizations and also a member of Trenton Elks Lodge #105 B.P.O.E. and a member of the Marching Club. He was also a member of Lawrence Township Senior Club #2. Son of the late John and Sophia Kalinski Waseleski; he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen Mankowski Waseleski; a daughter, Colleen Guarrera of Mt. Laurel, a son, Ronald R. Waseleski and his wife Josephine of Lawrenceville, a son, Alan J. Waseleski of Centennial, CO, a daughter, Sharon A. Waseleski of Lawrenceville and a daughter, Barbara A. Jiras of Roebling; nine grandchildren, Joseph, Kristen, Michelle and Kelley Guarrera; Michael, David and Eric Waseleski and Cheryl and Kevin Jiras. Richard's funeral will be held on Tuesday beginning at 9 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Hedwig Church, Trenton. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Trenton Elks Lodge # 105 will conduct services at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 872 Brunswick Ave., Trenton, 08638.
