Obituary of Mary Hamran Morris

Mary Hamran Morris, 101, of Tampa, FL, went home to be with her Lord on Friday May 22, 2015 at Melech Hospice House, Temple Terrace, Florida.
Born in Trenton, Mary resided in Ewing for many years before moving to Hamilton in 1991. She and her late husband wintered in Florida for over 30 years and Mary permanently moved to Tampa in 2005. She retired in 1972 after 32 years of service with General Motors, Inland Fisher Guide Division in Ewing. Mary was proud of her first position as a welder on the Avenger Airplane for the Eastern Aircraft Corporation. She then became a press operator with GM and retired as an inspector.
Mary was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Hamilton since 1945, now GraceWay Bible Church, and also attended Temple Heights Baptist Church in Florida.
Mary loved to travel and along with her husband had visited Russia, Africa, Greece, The Holy Land, Alaska, Denmark, Switzerland, Korea, Japan, China, Rio de Janeiro, Australia and Germany. She and her husband were also members of Trenton Movie Makers since 1986.
Mary will always be remembered with a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone she knew.
Daughter of the late John and Caroline Knapcik Hamran, wife of the late Leroy P. Morris, mother of the late John “Jack” Morris who was killed in a plane crash, sister of the late, Steve Hamran, John Hamran, Margaret Wospil and Ann Peck, she is survived by her brother Joseph Hamran; her dear friends Wanda and James Gary, Barbara McDonald and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mary will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ with the Rev. Dr. Richard D. Emmons, Pastor of GraceWay Bible Church officiating.
Interment will follow at Ewing Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
