Obituary of Antonio Cifelli

Antonio Cifelli, Sr., 68, of Lawrenceville died suddenly at home on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 Born in Pettoranello, Italy he was a resident of Lawrenceville most of his life. He was currently employed as a Senior Repairer with the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital in Trenton. Antonio was the former owner of Tony’s Mobil Station for 13 years prior to opening up his own business, Cifelli’s Automotive which he operated from 1991 until 2007. So trusted by his customers to this day many would come to his home for his expert advice and repairs. Antonio was a member of the Church of St. Ann and the Knights of Columbus Council # 7000 at the church. He enjoyed playing bocce and was a member of the Church of St. Ann team with the Lawrence Township Recreation League. He was a former member of the Roma Eterna Club of Princeton and the Italian American Sportsman’s Club, also of Princeton. Son of the late Flavio and Lucia Pinelli Cifelli; and brother of the late Ettore and Mario Cifelli; he is survived by his loving children, daughter, Traci Titus and her husband Don, and his son, Antonio Cifelli, Jr; his adored grandchildren, Emily and Nicholas Titus; his companion, Barbara Cavallaro; his sister, Ada Ciccone and her husband Nicola and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Antonio on Saturday, February 21 at 1 PM at the Church of St. Ann, 1251 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday from 10 AM until time of mass at the church. Due to the Lenten Season flowers are not permitted at the church.
