Olga Koob, 95, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Facility, Lawrenceville. Born in Italy, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville. She worked for many years as a certified nurse’s aide. Olga was a member of The Church of St. Ann, Rosary Makers of America, and the Literacy Volunteers of America where she taught adults how to read. She was a 25 year volunteer at Deborah Hospital and was a former member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge and a member of its rosary society. Daughter of the late Phillip and Filomena Molinari, wife of the late Edward J. Koob; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Annemarie and Gary A. Wasko, her son and daughter-in-law Richard E. and Arlene Koob; 4 grandchildren and their spouses Lisa and Jeff Fawcett, Michele and Walter Hlewicki, Richard Jr. and Paula Koob and Gary M. and Karen Wasko, 3 great-grandchildren Christian and Carter Hlewicki and Danielle Dzminski; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Calling hours for Olga will be held on Monday from 6-9PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
