Richard A. Jaskulski, 89, of Whiting, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, Richard was a longtime area resident before moving to Whiting. Richard left High School in his senior year and joined the Navy as a member of the 33rd Seabees to fight for his country in World War II. After the war he earned his High School diploma. Richard retired from Trenton Police Dept. in 1987. After retirement, he was employed by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Dept. Sergeant-at-Arms for Judge George Schoch. He was a member of the American Legion Post #458 and some of his hobbies included crabbing and fishing.
Son of the late John and Helen Jaskulski, brother of the late Henry John Jaskulski; he is survived by his wife Janice Jaskulski; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Richard will be held privately and at the convenience of the family
Memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
