William W. Yenny, 88, of Hamilton, NJ passed away peacefully Monday, June 30, 2014 at Lehigh Regional Medical Center in Lehigh Acres, FL. Born in Bristol PA, Bill was a resident of Trenton/Hamilton for 65 years until retiring to Florida where he resided in Lehigh Acres for the past 24 years. He worked for General Electric in Trenton for 18 years and retired as an Industrial Engineer in 1983. Bill served his country during WWII in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters and proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS YMS-111 Minesweeper in the North Atlantic and the USS Lagrange during the Philippine re-occupation in 1944/1945. He was a long time member VFW Post # 5343 and the Moose Lodge #2266. Son of the late Ernest and Frieda Yenny, father of the late William J. and Ronald Yenny, and brother of the late, Frieda Rose Consolloy. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Mary Yenny; his two sons, Wayne Yenny of Cape May Court House, NJ , Gary and wife Caryl Yenny of Tampa FL; his two grandchildren Michael and Michelle Yenny, his great-granddaughter Whitney Yenny, sister Jessie Davis of Denver CO, and many fond nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Poulson and VanHise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road (Route 206), Lawrenceville, NJ. Interment will follow at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park 545 Eggerts Crossing Road Ewing, NJ. Family and friends may call on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. “In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in William W.
