Martin Holsneck, 84, of Hamilton passed away peacefully early Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Hamilton Continuing Care Center. Born in Trenton, Martin was a resident of Hamilton for the past 10 years. He was a retired carpenter with Local 31 of Trenton. He also served country and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a former member of American Legion Post #458 and a former member of the TPADS. Son of the late Russell and Anna Coughlin Holsneck, father of the late Donna Holsneck, and brother of the late, Leroy Holsneck, Catherine Cienkowski and Thomas Holsneck; Martin is survived by his wife, Constance Gronostajski Holsneck; his son, Martin Holsneck and his wife Mary Ellen of Clermont, Florida; his daughters, Jill Boyd and her husband Thomas of Hampton, Va., and Laurie Houff and her husband Michael of Longmeadow, MA; his sisters, Gladys Klingerman of Boynton Beach, Fl, Jean Gretton of Ewing, NJ, and Barbara Carr of Washington Crossing, Pa; his grandchildren, Jessica Worthington and her husband Jeff, Adam Holsneck, Brian Holsneck and his wife Luisa, Eric Boyd and his wife Tiffany, Elissa, Megan and Alec Houff and his great grand children, Paige Popielarz, Julian Cruz, Madelyn and Jackson Boyd and Wiktoria Holsneck. Funeral services for Martin will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2014 beginning at 10 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 Am at the Church of St. Ann, Lawrenceville. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends may call on Monday, July 7 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
