David C. Allen, 54, of Ewing, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Capital Health Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Trenton, David was a lifelong resident of Ewing Twp. He proudly served his country with the US Navy. David was formerly employed as an HVAC Engineer with Rider University for 27 years and was currently employed with Park Place Apartments. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed fishing and boating.
Son of the late Elmer B. Allen; he is survived by his mother Virginia Allen; his girlfriend Robin Beaston; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law Steven and Jacqueline Allen, Bryan and Candace Allen; 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law, Valerie Carabelli, MaryAnn and Bryan Reed; his uncle and aunt, Richard and Roberta Brandreth; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
A memorial service for David will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 11AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in David’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 2600 US Hwy 1 North Brunswick, New Jersey 08902.
