Obituary of Dolores Lashutka

Dolores A. Lashutka, 80, of Lawrenceville was called home to be with her loving Lord on Tuesday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center. Born in Trenton, Dolores was a resident of Lawrenceville most of her life. She was employed as the office manager for the Snedeker Insurance Agency in Lawrenceville for many years until her retirement. Daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Warren Kostar and aunt of the late John and R.J. Kostar she is survived by her loving husband. Walter “Pete” Lashutka; her three children, Karen J. Lashutka of West Trenton, Gary R. Lashutka and his wife Linda of Lawrenceville and Maryanne Leming and her husband James of Hamilton, family friends Donna Perna and Ellie Vogia. She is also survived by her three brothers and a sister, Robert Kostar and wife Marie, Raymond Kostar and his wife Peggy, Kathy Martin and her husband Bill and Danny Kostar and his wife Joan and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Dolores will be held on Monday at 1PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. The Very Rev. Msgr. Vincent Gartland, Pastor of the Church of St. Ann will officiate. Private interment services will be held for the family. Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 11AM until time of services at the funeral home. As per a request of Dolores, please DO NOT wear black clothing. She requested all attendees wear something bright or pastel in color.
