Obituary of Emily W. Haggerty

Emily W. Haggerty, 94, of Lawrenceville died peacefully Thursday at Park Place Nursing Home in Monmouth Junction with her son Frank and his wife Jeanne at her side. Born in Roebling, Emily was a resident of Lawrenceville most of her life. She was a former member of the Church of St. Ann and the Altar Rosary Society at the church. Daughter of the late George and Juliana Veres Wargo, sister of the late, George, Louis, John, Sam, Mary, Theresa and Julia, and wife of the late Frank M. Haggerty she is survived by her sons; Frank M. Haggerty Jr. and his wife Jeanne and Marc Haggerty and his wife Darlene. Emily is also survived by her brother Joseph Wargo and her grandson, Frank Haggerty and his wife Jessica, her granddaughter Lauren Haggerty, and step-grandson Stephen Schwegler and his wife Sarita Morse. Funeral services for Emily will begin on Tuesday at 9 Am at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Church of St. Ann, Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in St. Basil’s Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
