Obituary of Frank Zeis

Frank Zeis, 83, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at RWJ University Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a resident of Lawrenceville for 61 years. Frank was a Veteran of the Korean War, having proudly served his country with the US Army Air Corps. He retired from NJ Tobacco, where he was employed as a Salesman for 30 years. After his retirement, Frank enjoyed tending bar at the Merry- Go- Round for 15 years. Frank was a former draft pick with the NY Giants Triple-A baseball affiliate. He was an accomplished artist and some of his hobbies included playing golf, fly-fishing, and flying private aircraft. Son of the late Frank Zeis, brother of the late Joseph Zeis, husband of the late Joan Toth, father of the late Karen Zeis he is survived by three children Tom and Barbara Zeis, Kathy Novak and Bob Leming and Gary and Jackie Zeis; his loving companion Karen Carvale; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank will be held on Thursday at 10AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Faith Development Center at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
