Obituary of Joan Kroesen

Joan Smith Kroesen, passed away on Saturday at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Born in Trenton, she lived for years in Hopewell Township and in later years in Lawrence Township. She was a real estate broker and had her own business, Kroesen Realty for 12 years. She later worked for Weidel Realtors and a secretary for the Hopewell Presbyterian Church of which she was a member. She is predeceased by her parents Stanley and Grace Smith, husband Robert K. Kroesen; her baby son and dear friend Bud Hendrickson. She is survived by 5 sons and daughters-in-law Scott and Robbin Kroesen of Texas, Christopher and Martha Kroesen of Florida, Stevan and Valerie Kroesen of South Carolina, Jeffrey and Martha Kroesen of Massachusetts and Jon Kroesen of Maryland; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 12 Noon at Hopewell Presbyterian Church 80 West Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ 08525. Interment was held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 80 West Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ 08525.
