Obituary of E. Kurt Ludwig

E. Kurt Ludwig, 67, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, August 4 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, Kurt was a former resident of Ewing and Lawrenceville, before moving to Lumberton 2 years ago. He retired from Princeton Day School, where he was employed as a mechanic. Kurt was an avid animal lover, outdoorsmen. His main passion was auto racing, he enjoyed racing with his sons on some of the local dirt tracks in the area. Son of the late Edward and Anne Ludwig, step-son of the late Madeline Ludwig; he is survived by his wife Dorothea Ludwig; daughter and son-in-law Karen and Thomas Comisky of Lawrence; 2 sons and daughters-in-law Brian and Lucy Ludwig of Pemberton and Eric and Gina Ludwig of Burlington; 3 grandchildren Michael Ludwig, Tommy Comisky and Savannah Ludwig; 1 great-grandson Tyler Ludwig; his sister and brother-in-law Carol and James Simmons of Hopewell. Relatives and friends can call on Thursday, August 8 from 5-8PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Memorial service will follow at 8PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
