Obituary of Frank DeFrancesco

Frank DeFrancesco, 84, of West Trenton died Tuesday at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, Pa. Born in Trenton, Frank was a lifelong resident of West Trenton and resided in the home he constructed. Frank was a graduate of Rider College and received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree in 1967. He was employed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Health for 39 years and retired as the Chief Personnel Officer in 1985. Frank served in the NJ National Guard for 15 years and was honorably discharged as Master Sgt. He also served his community as a volunteer with the West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company where he held the status of a life member. Son of the late Domenick and Ida DiFrancisco, husband of the late Carmella Lorie DeFrancesco and Marjorie Orson DeFrancesco, he is survived by his daughters; Christina DeFrancesco of Clarksboro, NJ and Deborah Yacyk and her husband Peter of West Trenton, NJ; his grandchildren, Michael James, Erin James, Jenna Yacyk and Dana Yacyk; his sisters; Christina Smires, Marie Cleary, Arlene Butkosky and his brother, Dominick DeFrancesco. Funeral services for Frank will be held on Saturday beginning at 9:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, West Trenton. Private entombment for the family will follow in Ewing Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 7 to 9PM at the funeral home.
