Obituary of Donald S Colavita

Donald S. Colavita, 67, of Lawrenceville died Monday in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, Donald was a life long Lawrenceville resident. He retired in 1998 as a computer analyst with the State of New Jersey, Office of Information Technology located in West Trenton at the NJ State Police Headquarters. Donald was a veteran having served with the Army National Guard of New Jersey. He was a member of American Legion Post 414 of Lawrenceville and was an avid golfer and tennis player. Son of the late Joseph H. Colavita and brother of the late Joseph H. Colavita, Jr., he is survived by his mother, Anna Perna Colavita of Lawrenceville; a brother, Anthony Colavita and his wife Dona of Whiting; his sister-in-law, Norma Colavita of Lawrenceville; a nephew Donald Heater and his wife Vickie, niece Phyllis Kownacki and her husband Jim, niece Dawn Pinterich and husband Dave, nephew John Colavita and his wife Sharon, niece Mary Colavita, nephew Anthony Colavita and his wife Fran, nephew Joseph Colavita and his wife Nina, niece Lisa Oâ??Brian and her husband James, nephew Mark Colavita and his wife Rebeca; several great-nieces and great-nephews and a great-great niece and a great-great nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 Am at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing. Friends may call on Friday from 8 Am until time of mass at the church.
