Robert W. Burket, 69, of Lawrenceville died Wednesday at Capital Health System at Hopewell with his loving niece by his side. Born in Trenton, Bob was a resident of Lawrenceville for the past 40 years. He was employed as the Superintendent at White Pine Apartments in Lawrenceville. He also was a U.S. Navy veteran. An avid race car enthusiast Bob was the owner of 27 KC Racing Team. He enjoyed trips to Parx Casino but most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Son of the late Charles Burket and husband of the late Patricia Ross Burket he is survived by his mother, Jennie Hoff Burket; his daughters, Cassandra Burket and Patricia Craver; his son, Robert W. Burket, Jr., his step-sons, Shawn Baker, Dean Jennings and Walter Snook; his grandchildren, Breyana, Sha’Nya, Tyler, Chris, Kaylee, Samantha, Josh, Ethan, Jocelyn, Gabriel, Chloe, Cassie, AJ and Tony Jr.. Also surviving are his brothers, David and Richard Burket and his niece and her husband, Lisa and Tony Gellner. Funeral services for Bob will be held on Monday at 11 Am at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. The Rev. Dan Schafer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ewing Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call on Monday from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
