Obituary of Marika Okros

Marika “Maria” Okros, 66, of Ewing, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Gyoma, Hungary, she had lived in Ewing for many years.
Maria was a health and wellness instructor for the former Elaine Powers in Hamilton. She volunteered as an exercise instructor at the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church. She also volunteered her time as an exercise instructor and memoir writing facilitator at the Lawrence Library and was a member of Toast Masters.
Daughter of the late, Keresztesi and Maria B’Molnar Lojos, wife of the late, John Lovas, she is survived by her partner, Howard William Painter, Jr., her son and daughter-in-law, John and Elvira Lovas, her sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Bundy Gundane, and her nieces; Eva Czako-Herig and Gabriella Czako-Schimdt.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, Lawrenceville with Rev Nina Reeder, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Frenchtown Cemetery
Friends may gather for remembrances of Maria on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
