Obituary of Beverly Joyce Jones

Beverly Joyce Jones (“Bev”),57, of Huntersville, N.C. passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, Bev grew up in Yardville, NJ. Bev was an attorney and executive in insurance risk management. One of Bev’s proudest business accomplishments was earning the honor to practice at the Bar as a Solicitor in Wales. Beverly graduated from Memphis State Law School and went into private practice in Memphis. She eventually moved into insurance law and made her home on the shores of Lake Norman. Beverly enjoyed life to the fullest and will be remembered as a devoted partner, loving sister, and doting aunt, as well as a sincere neighbor and friend. Bev’s love of beaches, sun, and water was legendary. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, fishing, and supporting her favorite sports teams with attendance and celebratory parties at her lakeside home. She had an amazing zest for life. She really did accomplish everything she set out to do. Daughter of the late Robert and June Jones, Beverly is survived by her partner of 19 years, Barbara Dole; her brother and sister-in-law James and Michelle Zarzecki; three nephews, Matthew, Tyler, and Brian Zarzecki; a niece, Kylie Zarzecki; an aunt, Alvena Snedeker; cousins Clifford and David Snedeker; her extended family members, Kevin, Kelly, Andrew, and Patrick Meyers; and many dear friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Bev on Wednesday at 11AM at Holy Angels Church, 1733 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
