Obituary of Frances S. Dodson

Frances S. Dodson, 93, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on Sunday December 11th at Palm Beach Hospice at Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach, Florida surrounded by her family. Mrs. Dodson, daughter of the late John F. and Minnie Scanlon was born and educated in Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating high school and business college she was a Comptometer operator. During World War II, she received a Letter of Excellence from Curtis Wright Aircraft Co. She was the Corporate Secretary of Duplicating Products of Trenton, Inc. and Franson Corporation, Trenton, NJ. Frances loved to dance and was an excellent dancer. She was a member of the 1st. Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach, Fl a past member of the Trenton Country Club, Trenton, NJ, and the Hamlet Country Club, Delray Beach, Fl and a past member of the Order of Eastern Star. She had a great sense of humor and loved golf. Once while playing in Florida with her regular foursome, a fellow member asked, “Fran, how many holes do you girls play”? She replied, “Until we get hungry”. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Dodson, a son, Dr. Richard C. Dodson and his wife Mary of West Grove, PA; three grandchildren, Jenny, Bethany and Richmond Dodson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Frances will be held on Friday at 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with the Rev. Jay Button, Associate Pastor of Grace Point Church, Newtown, PA officiating. Burial will follow in the Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing.
