Obituary of Mark A. Mechowski

Mark A. Mechowski, 45, died Tuesday in Philadelphia, Pa. Born in Schenectady, NY, November 18, 1965, Mr. Mechowski resided in Lawrenceville, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Mechowski was Assistant Vice President, Bank of America, Collingswood, NJ. He was formerly Vice President, PNC Bank, Philadelphia, PA and President, Markam, Inc., Lawrenceville, NJ. He was a graduate of Lawrenceville High School and attended Rider College. A dedicated and devoted parishioner of Our Savior Church, Lawrenceville, NJ, Mark served as Vice Chairman of the Parish Committee, past President of the North Trenton Lions Club, member Lawrenceville Lions Club, past Secretary, Polish Business and Professional Men’s Club, past Treasurer Polish Falcons, and was a member of the Polish Arts Club of Trenton. Mark had served on the Board of the Career Development Awards and was an active member of the Rittenhouse Row Business Association while at PNC Bank. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Poulson Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM. His Funeral Services will be at Ss. Peter & Paul’s PNCC, 126 River Dr., Passaic, NJ on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM with visitation prior at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in the East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, NJ A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter’s Church, 3rd and Pine Streets, Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 4:00 PM. Mr. Mechowski is survived by his life partner of 26 years, James R. Keller, his parents, The Rev. Frederick and Ruth J. Mechowski, his sister and her husband, William and Melissa McLauglin and his nieces Amanda and Olivia. Gifts may be made to Ss. Peter and Paul PNCC or to the American Cancer Society.
