Obituary of David Jones

David Jones, 62, of Ewing died Saturday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center. Born in Trenton he was a lifelong resident of Ewing. He retired in 2009 after 41 years of service with the New Jersey Department of Revenue where he served as a supervisor. David enjoyed collecting clown memorabilia and was known for his good humor as well as telling jokes. Son of the late Leonard and Dorothy Doolan Jones and brother of the late Leonard Jones, Jr. he is survived by his sister; Dorothy Ziegler and her husband Jeffrey; a brother, Daniel Jones and his wife Judith; a sister-in-law, Mary Jones; two aunts, Betty Jane Wolverton and Marie Frascella; his nieces and nephews, Ellie, Amy, Craig, Jannine, Cheri, Brandee and Ryan and in addition six grand nieces. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday from 9 to 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road Lawrenceville. Burial will follow after the visitation at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing.
