Obituary of Phyllis T. Leash

Phyllis T. Leash, 92, formerly of Lawrenceville, died Monday at HRC Manor Care Health Services in Laureldale, PA. Born in Reynoldsville, PA., she resided most of her life in Lawrenceville. Phyllis retired in 1981 from the Youngs Rubber Company after forty years of service. She was a member of St. Hedwig Church and the Rosarians at the church, Orchard Lake Ladies Auxiliary Group # 18, Lawrence Township Senior Citizens Club #2, and the Mount Carmel Guild. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Anne Bruzda Stefanski, sister of the late William and John Stefanski, Lottie Capes, Sophie Bolz, Cecilia Lear and Ada Bickel, and beloved wife of the late Theodore F. Leash, she is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:30 AM at St. Hedwig Church in Trenton. Burial will be on the parish cemetery in Trenton. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. In lieu of flowers, Phyllis requested that memorials in her memory be made to St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638.
