Obituary of Edward J. Moriarity

Edward T. Moriarity, 88, of Lawrenceville, died Sunday at the St. Joseph Skilled Nursing Unit at Morris Hall in Lawrenceville.
Born in Trenton, and a former resident of Princeton Junction, he had resided at the home of his sister Anne Davison in Lawrenceville for the last eighteen years.
Ed retired after thirty-three years as a heavy equipment operator with the State of New Jersey Department of Transportation.
Son of the late John and Margaret O’Brien Moriarity, brother of the late John Moriarity, Jr., Thomas Moriarity, Margaret Birbl and Joan Maggio, and beloved husband of the late Jean Ann Luther Moriarity, he is survived by his loving sisters, Mary Schiavone, Catherine Doress and her husband Joseph, and Anne Davison, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road in Lawrenceville.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
Family and friends may call on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at the daily chapel at The Church of St. Ann.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions in Ed’s memory be made the The Church of St. Ann Faith Development Center,
1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
