Obituary of Giuseppina Amari

Giuseppina Amari, 77, of Bordentown Township, died Tuesday at Robert Wood University Medical Center in Hamilton. Born in Casteltermini Italy and a former Trenton resident, she has resided in Bordentown for ten years. She was a member of St. James R.C. Church in Trenton and the San Calogero Society. Daughter of the late Francesco and Maria Bartoloni Amari, sister of the late Gioacchino Amari, and sister-in-law of the late Felice Amari, she is survived by her loving husband Gioacchino Amari, a daughter Antonella Alessi and her husband Calogero, and three sons Antonio Amari and his wife Ana, Frank Amari and his wife Susan, and Claudio Amari and his wife Tammy. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren Diana, Jennifer, and Gianna Alessi, Gioacchino, Stephanie, Anthony, and Gioacchino Amari and Katherine Weber, and a brother Ignazio Amari and his wife Francine. She was blessed by having her other beloved brothers and sisters-in law, Flora Amari, Anna Amari, Lillo and Cathy Amari, Pina and Vittorio Ingelima and Rose and Michele Catalano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. James R.C. Church, 29 E. Paul Avenue, Trenton. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Trenton. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Giuseppina’s memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN. 38105
