Obituary of Elisabeth Vieux

Elisabeth Vieux, 75, of Ewing passed away Thursday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Haiti, Elisabeth has been a resident of Ewing since 1991. After graduating college in Haiti, she worked as a teacher. She became a U.S. citizen and was employed as a phlebotomist with the University Medical Center at Princeton and retired in 2009 after 39 years of service. Daughter of the late Thony and Palmira Moise, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Pacius; her children, Jimmy Moise, Nathania Vieux and Jean Vieux; her brothers and sisters, Joseph Thony Moise, Lucien Thony, Marie Pasquet and Claudette Francois. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated promptly at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Incarnation, 1545 Pennington Road, Ewing. Burial will follow in the Ewing Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
