Obituary of Emily Bertha Forczek

Emily Bertha Forczek, 90, of Citrus Springs, FL, died Sunday at Harbourwood Health and Rehabilitation in Clearwater, FL. Born in Trenton, she was an area resident before moving to Florida in 1976. Mrs. Forczek was previously a clerk with the New Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles before her retirement to Florida. Her favorite hobby was bowling and she was a very talented bowler. Mrs. Forczek also liked to cook and was known to use her secret ingredients in her gourmet-style meals. She was a member of St. Hedwig Church and of the church's Alter Rosary Society. She also loved ceramics and enjoyed making Christmas tree ornaments for her family. Daughter of the late George and Mary Tworek Bekarciak, and wife of the late Henry John Forczek, she is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, George and Julia Forczek, and Robert and Rosemary Forczek; granddaughters, Kirsten Forczek, Karen Vossen, Kelly MacCall Carter, Loreen Andersen, and Katie Sullivan; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Bekarciak. Her funeral will begin at 8 a.m. Friday from Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St. Hedwig Church, Trenton. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing. Friends may call on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
