James A. Major, of Ewing Township, died Tuesday at the Masonic Home of New Jersey in Burlington. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., he had been an area resident most of his life. Jim served with the United States Army in Germany during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Upsala College. Jim retired as a Labor Market Analyst for the State of New Jersey Department of Labor after twenty years of service. He was a member of Trenton Cyrus Lodge #5. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara Halgreen Major and his dear friend John Hartman. The service and burial will be private and there will be no calling hours.
