Obituary of Margaret Brennan Seely

Margaret Brennan Seely of Lawrenceville died peacefully at Capital Health Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, September 21, 2010.
Margaret was born in Trenton and resided there most of her life. She attended Cathedral High School where she was valedictorian of her graduating class, and also attended Rider College. During World War II she was employed at Mercer Hospital as a medical secretary. Margaret was a homemaker for many years before returning to the workforce and becoming employed at Lenox China where she eventually became the showroom manager.
Daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy Williams Brennan, she was also predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Niles Seely in 1998, and brother Thomas Brennan Jr. She was the loving mother of her two surviving daughters, Donna and her husband Paul Deigl of Melbourne Beach, Florida and Joanne and her husband Eugene L. Farkas of Ewing. She was the loving sister of James Brennan and his wife Helen and sister in law Elaine Longmore. Margaret was the proud grandmother of Christine Gent and husband Scott, Richard Bowen and wife Laura, Lauren Donahue and husband Dan, Lesley Glenfield and husband Keith and Thomas Farkas and wife Kaitlin. Margaret’s adorable great-grandchildren are Hayley and Alex Bowen, Sophia and Brennan Gent, Kayla and Ava Donahue, Thomas Farkas Jr. and an expected baby boy Glenfield. She is also survived by her niece Linda Whalen and husband Terry, two nephews, James Brennan and wife Katya and Brian Longmore and wife Terri, and her great-nieces and great nephews Christopher, Kelsey, Sean, Morgan and Jake. Margaret was also blessed with several special friends and neighbors who resided with her at the Brookshire Community.
Margaret’s funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Church of St. Ann, Lawrenceville.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
