Joseph Paul Koeberlein, 88, of Lawrenceville, died Tuesday at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Orange and a former resident of East Orange, he had resided in Lawrenceville the past eighteen.
Mr. Koeberlein was a Miller Foreman for 35 years at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals in Union, NJ before retiring in 1985.
He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
Mr. Koeberlein was a member of St. Michael’s R.C. Church and the American Legion Post #414.
Son of the late Joseph F. and Emma Vogel Koeberlein, and husband of the late Margaret Rodgers Koeberlein, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; Catherine and John Clancy III, his two granddaughters; Erin Deck and Shannon Clancy, and his two great grandchildren Josephine and Dylan Deck.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at St. Michael’s R.C. Church in Trenton. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
Burial will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions to the American Legion Post #414, 100 Berwyn Place, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
