Obituary of Edna A Schwing

Edna A. Schwing, 72, of Lawrenceville, was called to the Lord on Tuesday surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she was an area resident all of her life having moved to Lawrenceville ten years ago. Edna retired from the New Jersey Department of Transportation. She was a member of the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville. Daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Graziano Garsky, she is survived by her loving husband Robert J. Schwing Sr., a son Robert J. Schwing Jr. and his wife Lauren, three daughters Theresa C. Schwing, Virginia B. Schwing-Dziura and Patricia A. Schwing. Also surviving are five grandchildren Kyle, R.J., Morgan, Harley, and Ian, and a brother Thomas Garsky and his wife Joyce. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 1 PM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends and neighbors in the daily chapel at the Church of St. Ann from 12 noon until the time of the Mass on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Edna’s memory be made the Faith Development Center, Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
