Obituary of Robert Romeo Bottoni

Robert Romeo Bottoni, 54, of Lawrenceville, passed away December 24th, with his loved one’s at his side at Capital Health Center at Fuld. Son of the late Albert Bottoni, grandson of the late Natale and Santina Bottoni and Romeo and Santina Quansi, he is survived by his mother Theresa Quansi Bottoni, his daughters Andrea and Erica Bottoni, and Olivia Kellow and her husband Patrick. Also surviving are his brothers Dino Bottoni and his wife Rosa and Anthony Bottoni, a sister Sandra Ciccone and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He graduated from St. James Parochial School in Trenton, and Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, where he excelled in basketball and baseball. He received his B.A. in Business Administration from Rider College. Robert was a former member of Lawrence Council #7000 Knights of Columbus, and was active in the Big Brothers & Sisters Organization. He was the former manager of the Lawrenceville Deli, and for the last six years had been employed at Mercer County Community College as a security officer, where he enjoyed many fun times with friends and colleagues. Robert was a wonderful caring, selfless, and fun loving parent, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an accomplished accordion player and an avid sports fan. He loved the New York Yankees and a good bout. He loved a great laugh and a hearty meal. Robert supported many local sports teams, and he could always be seen at his children’s, nephews, and nieces games. Robert will be remembered in the hearts of all who knew him as a really great guy, and an individual who gave more than he ever expected in return. He was someone we can say who made the world a much more fun place to live in. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery Mausoleum in Hamilton. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9 to 11 AM in the daily chapel at The Church of St. Ann. Memorial contributions in Robert’s name may be made to the Robert R.
