Obituary of Andrew J. Stefanick

Andrew J. Stefanick, 77, of Orange City, Florida died at his home on Friday November 13, 2009. Born in Morristown, NJ he was an area resident most of his life before moving to Orange City, Florida. Mr. Stefanick worked for many years as a serviceman for Pyrofax Gas Company in Ledgewood, NJ, and then owned and operated his own business, A-1 Sound, providing audio systems for air shows throughout the eastern United States. Son of the late Andrew J. and Mary Motty Stefanick, he is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Dunston Stefanick, his two daughters and sons-in-law; Jo Ann and Steven Groeger of Lawrenceville, and Lin and Donald Phillion of California, his grandchildren; Holly Benedetti and her husband Michael of Hamden, CT, Brian Groeger and his wife Wendy of Lawrenceville, and John Groeger of Lawrenceville, and his great-grandchildren; William Benedetti and Teagan Groeger. Also surviving are his brothers; Thomas (Margaret), John (Lisa) and Robert Stefanick, and his sisters Mary Anne (Rene) Torre, Andrea Massey, Teresa Husbands and Paula (Joseph) Melendez and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will be at 2 PM in the Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ. Friends may call on Friday from 9AM until time of service at the funeral home. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the Groeger home in Lawrenceville.
