Obituary of Edward T Converse

Edward T. Converse, 80, of Lawrenceville passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 at Capital Health System Fuld surrounded by his family. Born in New York, NY, he had resided in Lawrenceville for forty seven years. Edward graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School and attended St. John's University. He was a Korean War era Air Force veteran. He served as a Lawrence Township Councilman, was a member of the American Legion Post 414 and the Lawrence Township Senior Citizens Club #1. Son of the late Emil and Margaret McCormick Converse, and brother of the late Gloria Westover, he is survived by his beloved wife Pauline Phillips Converse of 53 years, four daughters: Claudia Phillips, Julie Andrus and her husband Dave, Caroline Greber and her husband Jim, Christine Hogan and her husband Paul; his two sons: E. Thomas Converse II and Eric Converse and his partner Bob Beauregard; his nine grandchildren: Katharine, Jenna, Erika, Alexandria, Jimmie, Megan, Melissa, Sean and Kevin, and his two great grandchildren; Masson and Hunter. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday October 30, 2009 at 10 AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville Cemetery.
