Charles R. Weyand, 76, of Ewing died on Monday at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident of Ewing Township. Mr. Weyand was a United States Coast Guard veteran of the Korean War. He was a salesman most of his life for local lumber yards, most recently the former Apex Lumber in Trenton. Mr. Weyand was a member of the Prospect Heights Fire Company, and the Ewing Athletic Club. Son of the late John Henry and Ruth Hartley Weyand, he is survived by his wife MaryLou Mason Weyand, his two sons; C. Richard Weyand Jr., and Robert M. Weyand and his wife Donna, his two grandsons; Matthew D. and Zachary R. Weyand, his two brothers and sisters-in-law; John and Mary Weyand, and David and Sue Deswert, his neice and nephew; Theresa Puca-Bond and John Weyand. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, with the Rev. Jack C. Belmont, Rector, of St. Matthews Episcopal Church, Pennington, officiating. Burial will follow in the Ewing Church Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 9 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home.
