Obituary of Joan Savadge

Joan Savadge, 78, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 5, at RWJ Hospital, Hamilton. Born and raised in Mt. Carmel, PA, she was a longtime Lawrenceville resident. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Della Swartz, and her brother, Raymond Swartz. Joan retired from AMF Corp. She enjoyed the simple and most meaningful pleasures in life-home, family, friends, and of course, Sunday bingo. She is survived by her beloved children, son Jesse Savadge of Lawrenceville, daughter Diane and son-in-law Tom Niebudek of Hamilton Square, son Carl and daughter-in-law Gina Savadge of Hamilton Square, daughter Nancy and son-in-law Bill Cuadra of Lawrenceville, son James Savadge of Lawrenceville; her adored grandchildren, Nicole Niebudek, DMD and her husband Eric Dwojak, Justin and Andrew Niebudek, Melissa, Jason, and Brittney Cuadra, Leslie and Carl Savadge. She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Cecelia Zukowski and Theresa Markowski, as all three sisters were nicknamed ""The Golden Girls."" She is also survived by her sister-in-law Shirley Keefe, and a special cousin, Lorraine Murphy; and many nieces, nephews & cousins. Private funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10 at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with burial at St. Hedwig's Cemetery.
