Obituary of Vincent S. Ragolia

Vincent S. Ragolia, 79, of Lawrenceville, died on Wednesday at Capital Health System at Fuld in Trenton. Born in Trenton, he had been a Lawrenceville resident most of his life. He was veteran of the Naval Reserve. Mr. Ragolia owned and operated the Franklin Tavern for twenty five years before retiring in 1997. Mr. Ragolia was the current president of the Mercer County Relief Association. He was a member, past president, and past vice president of the Slackwood Fire Company. He was a 4th degree member of Bishop Griffin Assembly and a member of the Lawrence Council 7000 Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Church of St. Ann for over fifty years, and a member of the St. James Senior Citizens Club. Son of the late Stephen and Theresa Muscato Ragolia, and brother of the late Ralph L. Ragolia and his wife Josephine, he is survived by his wife Gloria Tomasulo Ragolia, his son and daughter-in-law, Vincent J. and Jennifer Ragolia, of Hamilton, his daughter, Theresa Anne Ragolia, of Trenton, his two grand-daughters; Kaitlyn and Kristina, his brother and sister-in-law; Stephen and Carol Ragolia, his two aunts; Elizabeth Guarino and Patricia Muscato, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. The funeral will be held on Monday at 10 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Ewing Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
