Born in Trenton, he was a Lawrence Township resident most of his adult life. He was directly responsible for beginning the Annual Colonel Hand Historical Marches and was instrumental in accumulating most of the Lawrence Township's Historical Collection housed in Mercer County Library's Lawrence branch.
For over 25 years Mr. Immordino was actively involved in Mercer County and New Jersey's union labor movement. His extensive New Jersey labor historical materials collection was donated to Rutgers University's Alexander Library and is housed there in ""The Immordino Collection.
