Obituary of Diane M. Bresnen

Diane Marie Bresnen, 82 of Lawrence Township, NJ, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday night, January 12th 2025 in Ewing.

 

Diane was born in Trenton, NJ to her late parents Francis Barrett and Mabel Goldenbaum on June 3rd, 1942. She went to Trenton High School and graduated in 1960. Before her retirement, She worked for Conair many years, going on to become a supervisor there. She retired to Florida in 2008 for several years and since then relocated back to Lawrence in 2019 to reside with Megan, Tommy and Breena. She spent her days watching her shows on LifeTime and Hallmark while enjoying her Wawa coffee. She liked spending time in the summer tending to her rose bushes in the yard.

 

Diane is survived by her granddaughter, Megan and her husband Thomas Bragiel, her great-granddaughter Breena; Her grandson Stephen Sikora, his wife Keely, and her great-grandsons, Jaxon and Ryker all of Lawrence Twp. Her Daughter Lori Murphy of Hamilton; Her brother Bob Barrett and his wife Pam of Merritt Island FL. Her sister Maryann Cianfrano; Her sister Patricia Brettell; Her Brother-in-law Jack Murphy Sr. and his wife Virginia of Lawrenceville; Her niece Chrissy Subbiondo and her husband Charlie of Jacksonville FL;  Her nephew Bob Smith and his wife Megan; Her nephews Dean and Darren Brettell; Her nieces Amber and April Barrett; Her nephews Joey, Scott, Robby, Brian and Brandon Barrett; and many more family members.

 

She is preceded in death by her first husband William Murphy Jr, her parents Francis Barrett and Mabel Goldenbaum, her brother Francis Barrett, her sister Kathleen Barrett, her brother David Barrett and her nephews Michael and Charles Barrett.

 

Diane’s final wishes were to be privately cremated and to not have a funeral service. Poulson & Van Hise will be handling the cremation arrangements and a Celebration of Life for Diane will be held at a later date in time.
