Mabel Saracino, 88, of Lawrenceville, died peacefully at home on Saturday surrounded by her family.
Born in Bristol PA and a former resident of Ewing most of her life, she had resided in Lawrenceville for the past several years.
Mrs. Saracino was a press operator at General Motors for thirty years before retiring.
She enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies, reading, and trips to Atlantic City.
Daughter of the late Guido and Elvira Cagnetti Mazzanti, and wife of the late Carl Saracino, she is survived by her son, Jerry Saracino, her daughters and sons-in-law; Lois and Richard Fair and Carol and Francesco DiMeglio, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her sisters; Isolina Marozzi and Irma Nocito, her brother, Guido Mazzanti and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at the Church of St. Ann, Lawrenceville. Burial will be in the Ewing Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of Mercer County Hospice, 171 Jersey St. Suite 201, PO Box 441, Trenton, NJ 08603
