Betty G Hubsch 87, of Trenton died peacefully April 7th at the Compassionate Care Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was a 1939 graduate of Trenton High School, business woman, 40 year member of Soroptimist Club of Trenton, Trenton Symphony Board member, active church member, cook, crafter, and avid gardener. Betty, with her late husband, Donald, started the Hubsch Moving and Storage Company, in 1945, which later became the Trenton Agency for American Red Ball Transit Co. A lifelong member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Betty was involved in Bible study, Seniors Group, and various crafting groups. Many of Betty's dearest friendships developed from her involvement with these activities. Betty's generous heart and loving nature made everyone a treasured guest at her table. Daughter of the late Albert and Anna Reichert, and wife of the late Donald Hubsch, she was predeceased by her brothers, Walter and Carl Reichert. Left to cherish her memory, are her daughter, Donna Steinmetz and son-in-law, Robert, of Trenton, her son, Lynn Hubsch, and daughter-in-law, Karen, of Warrenton, VA, her son, Mark Hubsch, and daughter-in-law, Nancy, of Yardley, PA. Also surviving her, are her grandchildren, Robert Steinmetz, Jr., Kristin Steinmetz, and husband, Mathew Schmalz, McKenna Hubsch, Ethan Hubsch, Kelsey Hubsch, Justin Hubsch, and her great granddaughters, Anna and Katherine Schmalz. Betty is survived by a brother, Bruce Reichert, and sister-in-law, Dolores, of Forked River, NJ, and several nieces and nephews including Lance and Dolores Reichert, Cheryl and Robert Warfel, Kirk and Carrie Reichert, Janet and Fritz Doerstling, Douglas Reichert, Daniel and Suzanne Reichert, Bruce and Beverly Hubscher, Scott and Cathy Hubscher, and Mary Ellen and Barry Resnick. A private Christian burial was attended by immediate family on April 9 at the Ewing Cemetery. A Memorial Service, for all who wish to attend, will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 11 AM, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1125 Parkside Ave. Ewing Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, in memory of Betty Hubsch.
