Obituary of Stanislaw Kobos
Stanislaw Kobos, 91, of Ewing, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Poland, he immigrated to the United States in 1968. Stanislaw is a retiree of General Felt, where he was a machine operator for 31 years. He was a longtime parishioner at St. Hedwig Church. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed working outdoors, loved helping family and friends with construction and repair projects. Stanislaw aka “Mr. Kielbasa man” was known for smoking the best kielbasa in his backyard. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed. He was happiest when surrounded by his family and his devoted grandchildren.
Son of the late Stanislaw and Katarzyna Kobos, brother of the late Julian Kobos, Jan Kobos, Maria Kozan and Genowefa Chmura; he is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Anna Kobos; his children John Kobos and his wife Margaret, Maria Dziuda and her husband John, and Lucy Glitz and her husband Daniel; his grandchildren Kevin Dziuda, Michelle Dziuda, Samantha Ward and her husband Jason and Steven Glitz; his brothers Edward Kobos and Wladyslaw Kobos; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638.
Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp.
A visitation for Stanislaw will be held on Monday morning from 9:00-10:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
