Obituary of Daniel A. Posluszny
Daniel F. Posluszny, 90, of Lawrence Twp., passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at home.
Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville. Daniel was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having proudly served his country with the US Army. He was a retiree of the Mercer County Bridge Department, where he worked as a bridge repairman for many years. Daniel was a parishioner at St. Hedwig Church. Some of his hobbies included soccer (especially the English Premier Soccer League), fishing, hunting and walking through the woods.
Son of the late John and Helen Posluszny, brother of the late John “Bookie” Posluszny, Alice McNamara, Irene Kinney, Bob Post and Alma Rusceky; he is survived by his wife Rosalie Posluszny, his daughter and son-in-law Christina and Wayne Maver, his son and daughter-in-law Dan and Jill Posluszny; his grandchildren Rachel and Kyle Endt, Megan Byrne, Wayne Maver, Jr., Hannah Posluszny, and Samantha Posluszny; his great-granddaughter Nora Rose Endt; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638
Interment will be held in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp.
The visitation for Daniel will be held on Friday morning from 8:30-10:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
