Obituary of Mafalda Fabe

Mafalda “Babe” Fabe, 83, of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday May 26, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Trenton, NJ and moved to Hamilton, NJ where she graduated from Hamilton High School West. She then attended Temple University where she majored in Education. Upon graduation she worked for the Trenton Board of Education until she retired in 1990.

“Babe” was a member of Incarnation - St. James Parish in Trenton, NJ where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and a Trinitarian. She was active with many organizations including the Hamilton Seniors and a Capital Health Volunteer. “Babe” enjoyed reading, crocheting, and knitting.

Daughter of the late Rose (Zita) and Francesco Rotondo, she is pre-deceased by her husband John A. Fabe, her brother Frank Rotondo Jr, her sister Margaret “Margie” Pallotti, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary (Antonish) and John A. Fabe.

“Babe” is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law Rosemary (Fabe) and  Ronald B. Russell, III, and granddaughter Victoria Lauren Russell; sister and brother-in- law Mary “Marie” and Anthony Enourato; and brother-in-law Alfred Pallotti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. James Roman Catholic Church located at 11 E. Paul Ave. Trenton, NJ 08638

Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Hamilton, NJ.

The visitation for Mafalda will be held on Sunday June 2, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 PM and again on Monday June 3, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
