Obituary of Gerard A. Immordino

Gerard A.”Jerry” Immordino, age 83, of Ewing, entered into eternal rest with God on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, Jerry was a resident of Ewing Twp. for 56 years. He worked for the State of New Jersey, Division of Taxation for 40 years and retired as a Supervising Auditor in 2002. Jerry was a car enthusiast and a member of the Central Jersey Antique Car Club. He owned several classic cars including a red 1968 Ford Mustang and a red 1996 Corvette convertible which he proudly displayed at numerous cruise nights, car shows, and parades throughout the area. He loved playing the "slots" in Atlantic City and Parx Casino and spent many summer days at the Jersey Shore earning him the nickname "Jersey Jerry". Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and being Pop-Pop. Jerry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He will be dearly missed by many. Son of the late Joseph L. and Anna M. (Renno) Immordino, uncle of the late Joyce Immordino; he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Diane M. (DeBlois) Immordino; his beloved children and their spouses Joseph H. and Nataly Immordino, Alaine M. and Andrew Sine, and Karin M. and Marc Poveromo; his grandchildren Spencer and Gordon Sine, Michael J. Immordino, and Alyssa and Matthew Poveromo; his brother and sister-in-law Michael and Ida Immordino; his nephew Joseph Immordino; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 6-8 PM and Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Entombment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park, 403 Gordon Road, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
