Obituary of Theresa H. Cochran

Theresa H. Cochran, 98, long time resident of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday December 31st, 2023. Born on June 22, 1925 in Trenton, NJ and was a lifelong resident in the Mercer County Theresa attended Trenton State College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education. She taught in the Parochial School System and Trenton School System for many years until her retirement. Theresa had been a parishioner with the Church of St. Ann for over 60 years and when she was not attending Mass she traveled, skied extensively, and was a talented artist. Daughter of the late John Mihalik and Teresa Elcheck. She Theresa is preceded in death by her husband Richard Cochran; she is survived by her two loving children Timothy Cochran of Hopewell, NJ; Cynthia Cochran Januszka and her husband Patrick of Reinholds, PA; two grandchildren Martin Januszka and Katherine Januszka Costa. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors located at 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery located in Hamilton, NJ.
