Josephine F. Groch, of Lawrenceville, passed away on November 26, 2023. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville. Josephine’s formal education began at Slackwood Elementary School, Junior 3, and graduating from Trenton Central High School. After graduating high school, she worked for Harbourt Drug store and Hayden Chemical. She was employed as an accountant beginning with 1st Mechanics Bank, NJ National Bank, CoreStates Bank and retiring from Wells Fargo Bank. Josephine enjoyed trips to countries outside of the United States and vacationing in Cape May and Myrtle Beach. She enjoyed taking cooking and crafts classes, going to Trenton Thunder games and watching her beloved Boston Red Sox. Daughter of the late Frank and Anne Groch; she is survived by her cousin, companion, and caretaker for the past 5 years Jackie Anderson-Kraus; and other cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday December 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael’s Church located at 1130 Brunswick Ave, Trenton, NJ 08638 Interment will be held at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Hamilton. Visitation will be held on Monday December 4, 2023 from 9:00- 10:00 AM at St. Michael’s Church. Memorial donations can be made to St. Michael Church 1130 Brunswick Ave, Trenton, NJ 08638.
