Obituary of Joan E. Kondash

Joan Elizabeth Kondash, 57, born January 19, 1966, passed away peacefully in Hamilton, New Jersey on Sunday, May 7, 2023 after a long illness. She is survived by brother Joseph Paul Kondash of Glendale, California, brother Stephen Thomas Kondash, M.D. and his wife Kate of Cincinnati, Ohio, her sisters Mary Therese Kondash and Jeanne Anne Kondash, both of Hamilton, New Jersey, her nephew Alex, her nephew Corey and his wife Sarah, her nephew Thomas, her niece Therese, and her great niece Nora Joy. Joan's love for people and animals was boundless. She spent years caring for a disabled senior neighbor, buying her groceries and helping with chores. Joan was passionate about disabled children and animals, always supporting causes like the Jerry Lewis telethon for Muscular Dystrophy and several rescue charities. And she loved laughing and singing--had her own karaoke machine, joining in songs with her mother and sisters and besting them at trivia games. Joan was a graduate of Lawrence High School and Katharine Gibbs School. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11:00AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10-11AM in the daily chapel at the church.
